Episode 7: Lainee Pegelow- Let Them Fly, Even If They First Might Fall

Updated: Dec 1, 2019

Lainee Pegelow is a college minister, missions leader, and photographer who has served with Christian Challenge at NAU for the past 24 years. During that time, she has had the amazing opportunity to mentor hundreds of young women and help broaden her student's view of the world and understanding of scripture. We talk about the huge transition that student are making as they enter college and in what ways they seem unprepared. We also talk to parents and ministry leaders about how they can better prepare their kids to be ready for college life as a believer. I think her answer to "What do you wish students had a better handle on before coming to college?" will surprise you. Finally we will discuss depression and suicide on college campuses and positive steps to help fight these.

Parents Be Aware: We are discussing topics concerning collegiate behavior that may be inappropriate for young ears, you may want to listen with caution.
